Hey I'm having trouble with WinMX I use JAWS. I have the scrips for winMX and when I hit control S for search it says search button not found. I used the JAWS curcor and the search button does not appear to be even on the window. I'm not sure what I should do. I've thought about redownloading it and getting the scrips for it again, but not sure if that would solve the problem or not. If anyone can help me in any way that would be so greatly appreciated
Thanks,

Hey there,
I sugest going in to your system tray. it will show your winmx and you press enter on that. Then it will say hide or show, click show, and that should bring all your buttons back. Thats what I had to do with mine.

Hi,
Well, if what suggested above doesn't work, just reinstall the scripts.. That's what I did.

Oh no!!! You shouldn't have to reinstall anything!!! I had the same problem and I figured it out. Whenever it says "search button not found," you have to route jaws to PC by pressing insert and the jaws cursor together. Then press controll and home to go to the top of file, down arrow once till you hear graphic...ignore. Then press insert along with num6 until you hear jaws read "search," and hit the left mouse button. it brings you automatically to the edit field where you type for the artist/title. I know it's a lot to remember but I get by when I do this. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further problems.

You may also need to recompile the wcripts if you are using a newer version of jaws. Also, I had this problem a few times for seeminlly no reason on my system. I just reopened Win MX and used the jaws cursor. But if you say the jaws cursor doesn't even seem to detect the search button, that is very weird. Let me know if you have any luck.

I don't have a probem with that, my problem is the songs not downloading. :( anyway, I use the jaws curser 'cause the scripts didn't work.

Hi. I had the same problem and solved it by re-installing winMX. There's no need to download the scripts again, just re-install winXMX and it should work properly now. JoaquĆn
